Fancy being part of something exciting??

I've been thinking about this for a while. When people seek hypnosis for help with changing an unhelpful habit, such as eating the wrong foods, smoking or drinking too much, we often hit a bit of a bump in the road when it comes to stress. It's a real problem, quite often people leave my workshops/clinic determined never to smoke/eat too much sugar/drink too much/bite fingernails and they do amazingly well until a high stress situation rears it's head and then the old habit can re-emerge from the depths. This is strange as there is nothing in a cigarette or a chocolate bar that acts as a relaxant, quite the opposite actually. So what is it that makes us think we can relax when we smoke/eat chocolate/bite our nails? Notice I've left out alcohol from the list as some sources claim that just one small glass of wine can help to relax you, which is fine if you can actually stop at one!!!

The answer is our thoughts, we think that these props help us to relax. We associate them with relaxing and de-stressing even though nothing about them actually relaxes us. Knowing this can go some way to reducing our dependency on unhealthy ways to unwind. But it doesn't go quite the whole way.

One of the fastest ways to break an association is to replace it with another one. "Ahh but Viv," I hear you cry "herbal tea/elderflower cordial is just not the same as a good glass of wine or a bar of chocolate."

But what if you thought it was??What if a more healthy options had the same effects as the unhealthy ones????

I'm proposing that it could be possible to form a new association to a more healthy way to unwind and relax by listening to a short hypnotherapy recording while drinking the tea/cordial /whatever for 14 days.

If you are interested in giving this a try please e-mail me at viv.evans@hypnohealth.co.uk

The recording and any support will totally free, all that I ask is that you give me some feedback on the process.

So don't hesitate to get in touch, today might be the day your life changes!!!!!
